In response to the secret videos recorded that appear to show two Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetal body parts, a group has put together a protest in Indianapolis.
Fox 59 reported the protests come after an undercover video went viral, appearing to show an official with Planned Parenthood talking about how there was a demand for fetal organs and questioning how to keep them preserved during abortions.
The pro-life group is planning on putting together rallies for Tuesday all over the country in order to get an investigation started into Planned Parenthood.
The Center for Medical Progress was the group who posted the undercover video and the protest was put together by the Students for Life for America.
A statement from Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky stated, “Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky does not participate in any tissue donation program…Tissue donation is standard practice in the medical community.”
Organizers have named the event #WomenBetrayed and are working in the goal of defunding Planned Parenthood.
The Washington Times reported that officials with Planned Parenthood had said they do not profit from selling fetal body parts and assist women who give permission to have the bodies of their unborn children donated for research purposes, which is reportedly permitted by law.
More than 50 cities are listed as being locations for rallies, including Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
