Luke Bryan announces 'Kill the Lights' album

The country superstar's new album will officially be released on August 7.

Luke Bryan's latest studio album from 2013, Crash My Party, sold over 2.47 million copies, reports USA Today. Bryan recently wrapped up another successful album Spring Break EP in March.

The fifth studio album Kill the Lights will feature his new hit single, Kick the Dust Up. The album will be promoted through his current international tour that will end in January of 2016.

"With Kill the Lights, my approach has been the same," he told Rolling Stone. "The subject matters will obviously grow beyond Spring Break subject matters, but for the most part, I'm still going to have fun with my music and always try to write that song that makes everybody dance and have a good time."

"The main thing is that Kick the Dust Up gets it going, gets it rocking. It's a big, fun, summer outdoorsy anthem," he explains of his latest single.

Bryan revealed the track-list for his upcoming album. One of the tracks featured is a duet with Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild, which is called Home Alone Tonight.

While he is in the midst of a successful music career, Bryan has another hope for the future. "I would say that if I had the opportunity to do a Super Bowl halftime show, that would be crazy," he said. "Other than that, I think what is at the top of my bucket list is just enjoyment of this career."
