'Limited number' of Harper Lee's 'Go Set a Watchman' has chunks of text missing from pages

If you already bought Harper Lee’s highly anticipated follow-up to To Kill a Mockingbird, Go Set a Watchman, beware of a possible misprint towards the end of the book.

Penguin Random House is hard at work printing replacement copies following customers reporting blocks of text missing from some pages, due to a technical glitch with the printer Clays.

The publisher said in a statement that only a “limited number” of copies contain this error.

“Due to an error in the printing process a limited number of copies of Harper Lee's Go Set a Watchman are faulty," the statement reads, The Bookseller reports. "Replacement copies are currently being printed and the situation will be resolved swiftly."

The Independent reports several readers have taken to social media to voice their frustrations over the printing error.

Orders placed on Amazon after July 16 will contain no errors, but copies purchased before that cut-off date have the possibility of being affected.

The reviews on Go Set a Watchman have been mixed, with Atticus Finch revealed to be racist.
