Lana Del Rey releases new single, 'Honeymoon'

The first track off her upcoming record is finally here.

Lana Del Rey has been a hit for quite some time, especially since her last album, Ultraviolence, released in the summer of 2014. The sophomore album was No. 1, produced by the Black Key's Dan Auerbach.

But the star, who recently turned 30 years old, has more music in store for her fans. Rumors are that the new album will be released in September.

Snippets of her new song have leaked for the past few months, but the first and title track of her upcoming album was officially released today.

Entertainment Weekly reported the track to include creeping piano chords and Del Rey's familiar music vibe of love and melancholy.

"It's very different from the last one and similar to the first two," Del Rey told Billboard, comparing album Honeymoon to her last two albums.

"It's growing into something I really like. I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one," Del Rey said in January of her upcoming record.

"We both know the history of violence that surround you/But I'm not scared, there's nothing to lose now/that I've found you," the singer-songwriter sings in her new single.

At nearly six minutes in length, the new track is beautiful and sad. It already has has fans excitingly responding all over social media.

Everyone's favorite girl worked hard on her next release, and we can hardly wait to hear all of it.
