Khloe Kardashian opened up about Bruce Jenner’s transition to Caitlyn, saying there was a difficult transition period for the whole family but it’s behind them now.
Kardashian is in Australia to launch the Kardashian Kids collection there, and she appeared on The Project on Thursday, where she was questioned about Caitlyn.
“I think there was a hard time for the entire family, that we were all transitioning with her, but in front of an audience,” she said of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce specials and Caitlyn's docu-series I Am Cait.
She did say Caitlyn’s transition has been a “beautiful thing” but admitted they’re still getting used to it. For example, they still call her Bruce out of habit.
Kardashian explained the family doesn’t “like to say that Bruce is gone, per say,” adding, “'We, my sisters and I, we will call Caitlyn, Bruce, and we have been told that is completely fine.”
"She has told us, we are allowed to call her any name we want to,” she continued. “Because on the phone, when she calls me, it's the same voice as Bruce. And if I'm not physically with her, it's hard to remember in the moment that I'm talking to Caitlyn, if that makes sense.”
Meanwhile, Kris Jenner finally met Caitlyn for the first time on Tuesday after a few weeks of tension between them.
