Josh and Anna Duggar are now parents for the fourth time, welcoming a baby girl to their expanding family this past weekend.
The Duggar family’s official Facebook page made the birth announcement, revealing the baby’s name is Meredith Grace. Josh also posted photos on his Twitter and Instagram pages.
Meredith joins older siblings Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2, and she’s the fifth grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The only other Duggar sibling to give the now-canceled 19 Kids and Counting matriarch and patriarch a grandchild is Jill Dillard, who welcomed son Israel with her husband Derick Dillard in April.
They will soon be grandparents for the sixth time, however, when their daughter Jessa welcomes her first child with husband Ben Seewald.
This happy time in the Duggar family’s lives likely serves as a good distraction from the scandal surrounding Josh after he admitted to molesting five young girls when he was a teenager, including his sisters Jill and Jessa.
TLC announced they were officially canceling the show last week.
