Duke of Cambridge starts new job as an East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter pilot, hints at baby No. 3

Even the future King of England has nerves on the first day of a new job, which he indicated before starting his job at the Cambridge Airport as an East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter pilot on Monday.

His first shift will last nine hours and during his time at work, he will be covering the Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire counties for rescue missions.

"It's my first day and I'm feeling the nerves,” he told The BBC. "We're starting off on a wet Cambridge day, but I'm really looking forward to getting started."

The Duke of Cambridge, who has two young children at home, will work four days and have the four following days off.

According to CNN, he will work part-time to allow for his royal duties. He will also be paid a regular wage, which hasn’t been disclosed, but he will be donating it to charity.

Prince William spoke to The Telegraph about his family, saying of Princess Charlotte, “It has been fantastic and she has been a little joy of heaven. But at the same time it is more responsibility, looking after two little ones, especially when George is around. He’s a little monkey.”

When asked about a third child he replied, “You never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
