Couple having sex in viral Uniqlo dressing room video detained in China

Five people have been detained in China in connection with a couple having sex in the dressing room of a Uniqlo store in Beijing.

The video was uploaded to WeChat, one of China’s biggest social media platforms, and went viral. It was uploaded on Tuesday and by Wednesday, it was taken down.

The Guardian reports though the Beijing police are not amused, it has become one step further than a viral sensation in China as T-shirts of the couple are now being sold online.

"The two people in the obscene video had sex in the fitting room in mid-April and used a cell phone to film their activity," police said in a statement, CNN reports.

In addition to the couple having sex, whose identities are not known, the other people detained in this case are people who uploaded the video.

In the video, the man tells his sex partner "Call me husband" and "say we'll be together.”
