Caitlyn Jenner not fully happy with transition, blogs about her 'voice issue'

Caitlyn Jenner is not fully happy with her transition, as she revealed in her latest blog post. The one thing that bothers her about her new life as a woman is still having the voice of a man.

Still on a high from her ESPYs speech, when she accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, Jenner wrote on her WhoSay blog about her “voice issue.”

“It was a little difficult for me to watch myself,” she admitted. “While I felt like I looked great and that the gown looked fabulous, I still have a voice issue. It’s not quite right compared to my feminine appearance. That bothers me a little bit.”

She added, “However, I hope that people don’t listen to the pitch of my voice, but listen to what I have to say. That’s important to me.”

During her speech, for which she wore a custom Versace gown, she told the crowd, “If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead, because the reality is I can take it. But for the thousands of kids out there coming to terms with the truth of who they are, they shouldn’t have to take it.”

I Am Cait premieres Sunday, July 26.
