Nick Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina Brown’s girlfriend, is reportedly “devastated” by her death and even on suicide watch. He’s being sued by Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator for his possible role in her death.
The Houston family confirmed Sunday night that Brown, 22, died. She had been in a coma since Jan. 31, after Gordon found her unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home.
“Nick is very upset,” a source told People after Brown’s death. “You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much, and is devastated that she is gone.”
A source also told Hollywood Life that Gordon is on suicide watch and “out of control with regret and sadness.”
Since Brown when into a coma, Gordon, 25, had problems staying out of the headlines himself. He had a stint in rehab and in June, he was hit with a $10 million lawsuit from Brown’s conservator, Belinda Hargrove. She accused him of assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Hargrove also accused him of stealing money from Brown. Gordon was also blocked from seeing Brown while she was in a coma.
After Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, died in 2012, Brown and Gordon claimed that they got married. While they never did, they did call each other husband and wife on social media.
