After announcing their split, Ben Affleck and Jennifer garner took a trip to the Bahamas.
The two spent the week with their children, reports People magazine. "These are two people who really tried to save their marriage and worked really hard at it," a source stated.
Affleck arrived in the Bahamas on June 28, while Garner arrived on June 29, which was also their wedding anniversary. The family owns a private home within a private resort community in the Abaco Islands.
The couple lived apart for months before their public announcement on June 30.
The two sat together on the stairs by the beach and had a serious conversation, according to People magazine. "They would look at each other and speak and then both look away in silence," a source claimed. "A lot of the time they seemed to just stare off into space."
Moving trucks were spotted at their Pacific Palisades home a week before their divorce announcement. Although they already planned the split, both still wore their rings- Garner while moving and Affleck during the vacation in the Bahamas.
The two fell for each other on Daredevil and have been married since 2005. "Jen has been leaning on friends," a source told People of how Garner is handling the divorce. "She has a close circle of pals who she trusts and are really protective of her."
Recently, Affleck has been rumored to be developing a relationship with Margot Robbie. However, Daily Mail reported yesterday that the rumors are not true.
