6. Placebo Buttons - They do exist
Some buttons in today’s technology have become placebo buttons through the years because their original purpose is now handled by more modern, complex systems or else their original purpose has lost its practicability. Other placebo buttons are purposely installed as such in technology to make us feel we have an option to do something about a situation, where we clearly don’t. Funny, but placebo buttons are the ones we tend to push multiple times to give us some sense of control.
