Bart Simpson from the popular animated show The Simpsons’ will finally meet his demise from his arch nemisis since season one, Sideshow Bob. The two will come face to face in this upcoming Fall’s annual Halloween episode.
Executive producer Al Jean is excited about all the media attention that this episode is gaining, but he is a little disturbed as well.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Al Jean revealed this information at the ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas. When asked why he was letting the villain win, Jean admitted that he was the person who wanted the bad guy to defeat the good guy. He always wanted the Coyote to catch the Road Runner. “I hated frustration comedy so we’ll scratch that itch.”
No need to start the mourning the death of Bart Simpson. Rolling Stone reveals that the “Treehouse of Horror” episodes do not have any narrative effects in the TV show. So the death of Bart will only exist in that one episode. The Simpson’s will be returning for its 27th season and the episode is expected to air in late October.
