10. “The Stakeout” - Season 1
This episode introduces us to Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), while Jerry is stuck with his parents sleeping over. His dad suggests that he stake out a woman’s building to bump into her, after meeting at a birthday party. Here, George first comes up with the Art Vandelay alter ego. This is the one where things start to click with the group, although it does take awhile for Elaine to feel more integrated.
