Kensington Palace shares first portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte

Prepare yourself for the cutest pictures you will see today; the first official portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been released!

Prince William and Princess Kate released the sweet pictures of their children on Saturday.

The adorable heir can be seen cradling his new sister, who was born on May 2, in a series of precious pictures. According to People Magazine, the first of the four pictures were taken by Kate and later shared by the Kensington Palace’s Twitter account.

A source revealed that the sibling pictures were taken inside of William and Kate’s country home during “private family time.”

“We’re delighted to share the first photo of Prince George with his little sister Princess Charlotte,” the Palace tweeted.

"They're absolutely lovely," a palace insider told People. "The duchess has taken some absolutely beautiful photos."

The most adorable picture of them all shows Prince George giving his sister a sweet kiss on her forehead as Princess Charlotte smiles to the camera.

Kensington Palace recently announced the date a location of Princess Charlotte’s baptism. It will take place on July 5 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, which is near Queen Elizabeth II’s estate in Norfolk.
