Popular films make a comeback in theaters this weekend. A classic horror film gets a reboot and a lewd thriller receives its third installment. Disney, on the other hand, brings a new, futuristic story into the mix.
The touch of a pin takes a teenage girl to a magical place in Tomorrowland. In this unknown land, the teen and a former child inventor uncover secrets that may alter the world as they know it. The PG adventure stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Tim McGraw and Hugh Laurie. The Disney film plays for two hours and ten minutes.

After moving into a new home, a family is tormented by the evil spirits that live within the walls in Poltergeist. When the youngest daughter becomes possessed by demons, they must band together to keep her from completely turning to the dark side. Sam Rockwell stars in the classic remake. The PG-13 horror film runs for one hour and thirty-one minutes.

Prisoners are the ones being tortured in Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). In order to gain respect, a warden orders a head to rear sewing of 500 inmates. The third film in the gross trilogy features the leads of the first two films. The unrated, limited released thriller runs for one hour and forty-two minutes.

In order to make some quick cash, a young man becomes a dancer at a strip club in Chocolate City. Despite his popularity at the club, he tries to keep his new job secret from his family. The drama stars Tyson Beckford, DeRay Davis, Michael Jai White, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Robert Ri'chard, Vivica A. Fox and Carmen Electra. The limited released film is plays for one hour and thirty-one minutes. It’s rated R for sex, nudity, language and violence.

A group of friends come together for the union of their college classmates in Drunk Wedding. Things get out of control when alcohol gets involved. The crude comedy plays in limited theaters for one hour and thirty minutes. It’s rated R for sex, language and drugs.

The daredevil behind base jumping is the focus of Sunshine Superman. In the PG documentary, Carl Boenish shares his passion and enthusiasm for leaping off structures with only a parachute. The film is playing in limited theaters for one hour and forty minutes.

A young foster child struggles to fit in in When Marnie Was There. She finally finds someone she connects with and discovers that her new friend hold secrets that connect them. The PG animated film is based on Joan G. Robinson’s novel and features the voices of Ellen Burstyn, John C. Reilly, Catherine O'Hara, Kathy Bates, Vanessa Williams, Hailee Steinfeld and Geena Davis. The limited released drama plays for one hour and forty-three minutes.

A few of this week’s films provide a scare, but next week the thrills combine with action in Dwayne Johnson’s San Andreas. Bradley Cooper’s Aloha also hits theaters on May 29.
