What a great season of Saturday Night Live this was. We got some great new cast members like Leslie Jones and some really dynamite hosts like Dwayne Johnson, Martin Freeman and Cameron Diaz. Even more than usual there were a lot of sketches that were close to making this list, which proves just how strong this season was. From killer politically charged material to a variety of classic sketch formulas turned on their ears, this year’s Saturday Night Live was the strongest I’ve seen in quite a while.
Before we get to the listing, it’s worth saying that lists like this are totally subjective – my favorite could be a complete dud for you and vice versa.
