Netflix Tuesday: Getting excited for 'Grace and Frankie'

Netflix, is every college student’s go to streaming site, where only one in eight of them are actually paying for the service, but each eight are using it advantageously for their binge watching pleasure. Currently Netflix is spitting out original after original TV shows to binge watch late at night when you can’t sleep. Or can you not sleep because you’ve got an entire season to binge watch before spoilers get out on the Internet?

First it was House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, which both proved to be powerhouse shows and both got renewed for more seasons. Then Netflix struck some deals with Arrested Development and announced that they would be keeping the series going. This past winter Netflix premiered a Tina Fey show, the spectacular, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and that's just to name a few.

Netflix is growing because of popular demand and this summer will be fascinating to watch shows like Daredevil based off of a Marvel comic and a new season of Orange is the New Black.

Premiering this week is a new show Grace and Frankie starring Martin Sheen, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin. The show revolves around the premise that two law partners come out to their wives at the peak age of sixt-five, and proclaim that they love each other and want to get married. This show looks to be very promising as well as open to a diverse audience. The trailer shows the problems the two wives must face and how they lean on each other as well as the two men dealing with their feelings and facing society not just as two gay men in love but as two men who divorced their long-term wives.

All in all it looks to be a very promising show, and I especially look forward to binge watching it.
