5. Wrestlemania 3
Many look at Wrestlemania 3 as the first great edition of the event. It was the first time that the in-ring action and storytelling came together just right to make something special. The battle for the Intercontinental Championship between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat became one of the first classic matches to occur at Wrestlemania. Most fans remember this event for the collision between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. The image of Hogan hoisting his huge opponent for a body slam is one of the iconic images of Wrestlemania.
