It’s Sunday night, time for some Atlanta drama.
Last week we were left with another episode of Phaedra’s cheating allegations being put on the table, to which she consistently reacted by leaving the room.
Tonight’s episode kicks off with Phaedra visiting Porsha. Phaedra seems to think Porsha’s house is in the middle of nowhere, saying she needs to move to the city. Does she still live next to Nene?
Phaedra is telling Porsha about her meeting with Cynthia in the last episode, of course making Cynthia seem to be way more dramatic than it actually was. Phaedra makes a comment about being a plus-size model. Now she’s just being plain mean and trying to cover up the fact that she is more than likely guilty.
We switch to Kandi and Todd. They are talking about therapy again. It’s sad this is actually a big part of their storyline this season. I don’t like it. Kandi even uses there term “save my marriage” in an interview segment. Todd has a hard time naming pro’s regarding Kandi as they make a pros and cons list of their marriage. But really do hope they work it out, they’re good together.
After a commercial break we’re with Claudia. She’s having a regular hangout session with a co-worker. Apparently Claudia wants to try stand-up comedy and it’s something that people around her have suggested she try. Very interesting, to be honest. Hopefully it’s better than Slade Smiley’s comedy attempt in his Orange County days. I think she should go for it, how interesting. Now it’s time for Nene and Phaedra. Nene takes advantage of her interview segment to say she’s being a friend. It honestly seems like these ladies met up just to stage a scene talking about Kandi and her lack of friendship with Phaedra. Convenient, yet another problem Phaedra has with a friend to cover up the drama about her infidelities. Also, why is Nene being so shady towards Kandi? No one ever does anything right but Nene and whoever her best friend is at the time.
Back to Claudia again. We are getting lots of time with her which is pretty interesting. Shows the rumors of the producers being a huge fan of her are probably true. We haven’t even seen Kenya or Cynthia on this episode. In fact, after Claudia is Phaedra again. Kandi is visiting her at work and, rather quickly, brings up the counseling situation. Kandi is honest with Phaedra, telling her that she feels like Phaedra hasn’t been supporting her recently either. Of course Phaedra doesn’t care and makes it out to seem that Kandi’s situation is causing her to worry over money, which isn’t as big of a deal as her own situation. Rude, Phaedra. Rude. She continues to trash talk Cynthia in her interview segment. It is actually mind blowing how much she hates on her. You’re overcompensating, Mrs. Parks.
Kandi has decided to attend the counseling session.
Back to Claudia again for a brief moment, she’s trying out the comedy routine. She said it was humiliating. I personally thought it was hilarious. Vulgar but hilarious. Speaking of Claudia, she’s on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen tonight!
Now we’re off to therapy. Nene arrives first, followed by Porsha. Surprisingly, Kandi isn’t the last one to arrive. Nene kicks things off for everyone. Kenya is on point in her interview clip when she says Nene is always the center of the drama. “She throws stones and acts like she didn’t do anything.” True story, Kenya! True story.
They are five minutes into the session when Nene is already raising her voice at Kenya and even goes off on the counselor for a second! Jesus, Nene. Get yourself together. What even is Nene’s problem with Kenya now? It’s all stemmed from so many things I can’t even remember the root of the problem.
Claudia says “Nene wants to be the victim.” It could not be any more true. Kandi says the person that is usually guilty is the person that has the most problems. Once again, so true. Nene Leakes, realize you are in the wrong. Literally everyone around you is telling you that and you are ignoring them. Nene is being beyond rude. This episode is very telling of her true colors. Nene calls Cynthia the mean girl. So ironic. Kandi is next and puts Nene on blast about how she treats Cynthia. Nene will not admit anything she’s done wrong. She claims she’s being attacked, shocker. Last week it was Phaedra running from her issues, this week it’s Nene. She storms out.
The show closes out as Nene’s walking to her car. Next week it looks like she continues to insult the doctor. Because he’s the one with the problem, right Nene?
Until next Sunday..
