LeBron James might take rest before playoffs

With the NBA playoffs on the horizon, the Cleveland Cavaliers could rest their best player during the final games of the regular season.

Cavaliers forward Lebron James told Cleveland.com that he might take some time off heading into the playoffs. The four-time NBA MVP said he thinks a rest would be good for his body and psyche.

"I would love to get some more rest, especially going into the playoffs and knowing how important those games are, and how physically taxing those games can be, mentally as well, so we’ll see what happens." James said.

James missed around 2 weeks of action earlier this season with knee and back injuries. According to ProBasketballTalk, James has already missed a career-high 11 games this season and is averaging a career-low in minutes with 36.1 per game. Cleveland has gone 2-9 in games without James.

The Cavaliers have been on a roll lately and are currently positioned as the two seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 41-25. The NBA regular season ends on April 15.
