Model Gigi Hadid is slamming rumors she was doing cocaine at the Victoria’s Secret Pink Spring Break event in Miami, Fla., which she hosted with her boyfriend Cody Simpson on Saturday.
The magazine OceanUp posted a false story claiming the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster was doing drugs behind the DJ booth at the event, wide open in the daytime where everyone could see it.
They took the alleged photo from Simpson’s Snapchat Story, which showed Hadid leaning down with her face down on a counter. They claimed she was snorting cocaine off of it.
This infuriated the model took to Twitter to slam the story. She wrote in part she’s “insulted” they would even make the erroneous claim.
“If u actually watch the video there is nothing on the counter .5 sec's before you see that image.. It's not only impossible but insane to me,” she wrote. “Besides for doing the supposed in general, I'd be an idiot to do that at a WORK EVENT in front of hundreds of people/press. I'm insulted.”
“I take pride in being a good role model, would never touch that, & will not stand for or put up with a little piece of scum blog like OU,” she concluded.
