Rapper will.i.am and actress Eva Longoria are celebrating their birthdays today, March 15.
will.i.am, 40
Rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, DJ and record producer will.i.am turns 40 today. Born William Adams, Will.i.am, rapper Allan Pineda (apl.de.ap) and Dante Santiago were found by rapper/entrepreneur Eazy-E and signed to Ruthless Records in 1992 and known as the Atban Klann. The group never released an album and after Eazy's death, the group replaced Dante with rapper Jaime Gomez (Taboo) and changed their name to The Black Eyed Peas.
The Black Eyed Peas released two albums, Behind the Front and Bridging the Gap. In 2001, Will.i.am released his solo album Lost Change. Fergie joined The Black Eyed Peas for their 2001 album, Elephunk. They released the successful singles "Where Is The Love?," "Shut Up," "Hey Mama," and "Let's Get It Started." The group released three more studio albums, Monkey Business, The E.N.D. and The Beginning. with The Black Eyed Peas, Will.i.am received seven Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, a Teen Choice Award, two MTV Video Music Awards and three World Music Awards.
Will.i.am released his second solo album, Must B 21, in 2003. He recorded the song "Secrets" for the soundtrack to Dexter's Laboratory: The Hip-Hop Experiment for the Cartoon Network original series. He also composed the theme music for another CN series, Samurai Jack. He released his third studio album, Songs About Girls in 2007. His fourth studio album, #willpower, was released in 2013 and featured the hit singles "Scream & Shout" featuring Britney Spears and "#thatPower" featuring Justin Bieber.
Will.i.am also transitioned into acting, providing voices for Rio, Rio 2 and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. He also appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Joan of Arcadia and Date Night. Will.i.am also served as a judge or a guest mentor on singing competitions including The X Factor UK, The X Factor U.S., American Idol, The Voice UK and The X Factor Australia. Will.i.am currently serves as a judge for The Voice Australia.

Eva Longoria, 40
Actress, producer, director, activist and businesswoman Eva Longoria turns 40 today. Longoria started her career with minor television appearances before having her breakthrough role in the CBS Daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless.
In 2003, Longoria was cast in the ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives. In 2006, she earned a for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role. Longoria co-produced and starred in the direct-to-video film titled Carlita's Secret. In 2006, she also starred in her first theatrical film, The Sentinel and went on to star in Over Her Dead Body, Lower Learning and A Dark Truth.
In 2010, Longoria hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid, Spain. She was ranked No. 14 in People's Most Beautiful 2011. Longoria also served as one of the executive producers of Devious Maids and directed the second season premiere.
Longoria was married to her General Hospital co-star, Tyler Christopher. She was also married to Spurs point guard Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011.
