‘Austin Powers’ star Verne Troyer is fine after suffering a seizure

Verne Troyer was rushed to the hospital Saturday after suffering a seizure while attending a meet and greet at the Heart of Texas Comic Con.

According to witnesses, the 46-year-old actor was having a hard time breathing. The actor’s rep told TMZ that he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

The rep added that the star, who is best known for his role as Mini-me in the movie Austin Powers, went through battery measures at the hospital and is now doing fine.

Troyer also took to his Twitter page to let his fans know that he was at his hotel room resting after spending a couple of hours at the hospital. He plans to return to the Heart of Texas Comic Con tomorrow.

“Everything's ok guys. Thanks for the concern,” Troyer wrote on Twitter.

There has been no word on what caused the seizure, TMZ notes.
