Born in Aix-en-Provence, 34-year-old Mylène Jampanoï's acting career started with a role as Laeticia Valanski in a French show called Sous le soleil (Under the sun) from 2001-03.
Jampanoï went on to appear in television movies and shows, most notably, Hard (2011) and Rani (a recurring role in 2011) and in films, including the revenge-horror drama Martyrs (2008), the romantic drama The Chinese Botanist's Daughters (2006), a biographical drama, Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life (2010) and a small role in the U.S. fantasy drama Hereafter (2010, starring Matt Damon).
Jampanoï's mixed ethnicity of French and Chinese gives her an exotic appearance that is boosted by her jet-black hair, narrow and piercing eyes and full features. Her looks commandingly draw attention but she has a facade that is intriguingly intimidating. Hers is a fierce kind of beauty.
