This isn't a drill this time: 'House of Cards' returns for Season 3

Spoiler Alert on the series’ plot.

This isn’t a false alarm – the Kevin Spacey-starring Netflix original series House of Cards is back for a third season and Michael Kelly, who plays Doug Stamper, can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The second season ended with Doug getting knocked out, with the audience not knowing if he lives or dies, and if Kelly would be returning.

“To be able to speak freely! It's been a year," he said, The AP reports. He’s had to wear a disguise in Baltimore, where they were filming the third season.

"For a year, I've had to keep everything so secret," he said. "I feel awful for having to lie, but what else could I do?"

Earlier this month, Netflix accidentally posted the third season, only to pull it 20 minutes later.

Their Twitter page posted, “This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27.”

The wait is finally over.
