The directors of The Lego Movie took a shot at the Academy Awards while accepting the BAFTA award for Best Animated Film.
According to Variety, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller took out the time during their acceptance speech to thank the British Academy of Film and Telivision Arts and acknowledged that this would be their last award show of the season.
“You are our favorite Academy by far,” the directors said. “You guys win the award for best Academy. This is the end of the awards road for us, so we can say whatever we want. There’s no one left to impress.”
Many were shocked last month when The Lego Movie was left off the ballot for Best Animated Film by the Oscars in favor of Big Hero 6, How To Train Your Dragon 2, The Boxtrolls, Song of the Sea, and The Tale of Princess Kaguya.
Shortly after the snub, Lord tweeted a photo of his own Oscar made out of Legos.
The song Everything Is Awesome from the movie is currently nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
