In today’s news that should surprise absolutely no one, another Keeping up with the Kardashians spinoff is reportedly in the works, this time centering on the exploits of Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
An insider told Variety about the show, although an E! Network spokesperson denied that such a series was in the works. The sources did add that no deal has been signed.
The news comes just a day after The New York Post’s Page Six reported that Kris Jenner had signed a $100 million deal to keep the family with E!. However, a spokesperson for the network called that number “grossly inaccurate.”
Variety reports that the deal is actually closer to $20 million for three more KUWTK seasons. In addition, the family will get a $75,000-per-season clothing allowance.
Nevertheless, the big deal does not reportedly cover the Bruce Jenner docu-series about him becoming a woman. The deal would also not cover the potential Kendall and Kylie series.
It certainly is a no-brainer move to devote a series to the younger sisters in the Kardashian clan. Both have big followings on social media and both have clothing collections. Kendall’s modeling career has already taken off. One has to wonder why E! hasn’t already started a series about the two.
