Jameis Winston plans on winning the Super Bowl next year

Former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston spoke on a number of topics at the NFL Combine on Friday.

Winston addressed the media in Indianapolis and confirmed that he will be participating in throwing drills on Saturday in front of all 32 NFL teams according to Fox Sports. Winston had been contemplating whether or not to participate in the drills after experiencing pain in his throwing shoulder. Along with the announcement, Winston declared his goal for his rookie season.

"I plan on winning the Super Bowl next year," Winston said. "I want my name to stay relevant for the next 15-to-20 years."

Winston added that he wants to be considered on the same level as Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Winston, who had a number of off-the-field incidents during his time at Florida State, is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Winston said he wants to earn the organization's trust and plans on being a role model in the community of whatever team drafts him.

Winston will take the first step in his pro career at the NFL Draft on April 30.
