Jennifer Lawrence and her Joy director, David O. Russell, reportedly had a heated argument on set in Boston on Tuesday, where they were seen screaming at each other.
A source set said it was Russell who started screaming at the Oscar-winner over a scene they were filming and it was nothing short of curse-filled.
However, a rep for the studio told TMZ they were screaming at each other but not because of anything personal.
They were method acting and Russell, who Lawrence has worked with on Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, was trying to get Lawrence pumped up for the scene she was about to shoot, for which she screams at someone else.
The film is based on a true story about the woman who created the Miracle Mop, Joy Mangano.
Celebuzz reports Mangano has a rags to riches story, having been struggling before achieving enormous success with her product.
