Boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and actress Kristin Davis are celebrating their birthdays today, February 24.
Floyd Mayweather, Jr., 38
Boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. turns 38 today. Mayweather is the son of boxer Floyd Mayweather Sr. His uncles, Jeff Mayweather and Roger Mayweather, were also boxers, with Roger currently serving as Floyd's trainer. In the beginning of his career, Mayweather, Jr. won the national Golden Gloves championships in 1993, 1994 and 1996. He won a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Early in his career, Mayweather was praised for his skillful boxing. He was the No. 8-ranked pound-for-pound best boxer in the world by The Ring and in 1998 and 2007, he earned the Fighter of the Year award. He is currently undefeated and is a five-division world champion.
Throughout his career, Mayweather has won ten world titles and the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He won the Best Fighter ESPY Award in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
In 2007, Mayweather appeared in Season 5 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars with partner Karina Smirnoff. However, the duo was eliminated fourth, coming in ninth place.
After years of unsuccessful negotiations, Mayweather is scheduled to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 2, 2015 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Kristin Davis, 50
Actress Kristin Davis turns 50 today. Davis started her career after appearing in a couple of episodes of the soap opera General Hospital. She went on to play Brooke Armstrong Campbell in the series Melrose Place and appear in other television series including Friends, Seinfeld and Will and Grace.
In 1998, Davis was cast as Charlotte York in the HBO series Sex and the City. She reprised her role for the two films based on the series, Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She received an Emmy nomination for her role during the series' final season.
Davis has also had a successful film career. She appeared in the films The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D, The Shaggy Dog, Deck the Halls and Couples Retreat. In 2014, she made her stage debut in the production Fatal Attraction.
Davis most recently starred in the short lived CBS comedy, Bad Teacher. In 2011, Davis adopted a daughter, Gemma Rose Davis.
