'Billy On the Street' will return on TruTV

Billy Eichner has signed a deal with Turner Broadcasting to bring his game show, Billy On the Street, to TruTV later this year.

Variety reports that the Turner will gain the rights to the first 3 seasons of Billy On the Street and will air re-runs on TBS while Eichner will also develop pilots for TruTV and Adult Swim.

Eichner said, “I am beyond excited about this new era for ‘Billy on the Street.’ I’m thrilled to be working with TruTV and the Turner family, and I’m very ready to hit the streets for a new season of making dreams come true and changing lives for the better.”

The show, which originally aired on Funny Or Die, was cancelled after three seasons and ended its initial run in December of 2013, reports USA Today. The game show follows Eichner around the streets of Manhattan as he finds strangers to play games for prizes.

Season four of Billy On the Sreet is set to premiere in late summer or early fall.
