15-year-old girl could earn millions off her babysitting business

While many sixth graders are busy enjoying their summer by relaxing and spending time with their family and friends, one special 15-year-old girl spent her summer constructing a plan for a nanny agency.

NoA Mintz, the oldest of four kids and founder of Nannies by Noa, thought there must be a better way to connect families and child caretakers after discovering many flaws with her own caretakers, News.com.au reports.

“For what you’re paying, your kids should be more stimulated,” Mintz said. “At 7, I would tell my mum, ‘You need to get more bang for your buck.’ It would drive me insane!”

Mintz, who recently hired a CEO to handle the “excruciating hours” and “hundreds of emails” she dealt with on a daily basis, started her business by networking with nannies in her circle and recruiting at SoulCycle and on college-career websites, according to The New York Post.

Nearly three years later and her business has paid off. Her full service agency provides 190 clients with baby sitters and full-time nannies. Mintz also landed a partnership with the Ivy Key tutoring and test-prep service.

The agency says it currently has 25 full-time nannies and 50 baby sitters, working an average of 15 hours per week.

Potential candidates to become baby-sitters or nannies go through a rigorous process questions, social media screening, reference and background checks and interviews with resumes with photos for clients.

When it comes to her business, Mintz has high standards. She likes “engaged nannies who don’t sit on the side at the playgrounds on their phones.”
