Social Media Coordinator

TheCelebrityCafe.com, the Internet’s longest-running entertainment magazine, is looking for a self-motivated, team player to help manage and grow our presence across various social media channels, including, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Candidates must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter and be team-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Post and create content for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+
  • Use scheduling platform to balance platforms
  • Act as a moderator by responding to fans, answering questions and starting conversations
  • Create weekly reports on social media traffic and suggest changes
  • Promote contests
  • Coordinate live coverage
  • Assist in special projects
  • Stay up to date on industry news and changes within each platform
  • Flexibility to work various shifts remotely.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and updates in order to bring in new ideas and keep the brand fresh.

  • Creative, artistic and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Real-word experience planning social media programs
  • Knowledge of online media marketing current best practices
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Education

    Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field

    This is a full-time, entry-level, remote position.
