A woman in Cork, Ireland was busted for possessing cocaine at, of all places, her local bingo hall.

The Associated Press reported that authorities arrested Helen Heaphy, 50, on two counts of possessing cocaine for sale or supply, just outside the bingo hall.

The grandmother apparently pulled the old line that the drugs were not hers and she was just holding them for a friend. However, she plead guilty to the charges on Wednesday.

Even though Heaphy had two prior drug convictions, her lawyers asked for a lenient punishment.

"She is 50 years old now. She is separated. She is both a mother and grandmother with family responsibilities," her lawyer Frank Buttimer said.

Heaphy was ultimately fined 750 euros ($870) and escaped any jail time.

The Irish Independent noted that the grandmother said she deeply regretted what happened and was given three months to pay the fine.

She has now returned to play bingo at the same hall she was arrested just outside of.
