The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have officially joined Twitter with the handle @KensingtonRoyal.
The Twitter page will update followers on all of the royals’ official engagements. Their first tweet on Wednesday was “Hello from Kensington Palace! Welcome to our new Twitter account.”
Being three of the most notable public figures in the world has its advantages in terms of the amount of followers the account will likely collect over the next week or so. So far, they have around 55,000 followers.
“This account represents The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry - follow for updates on their work and the #RoyalFoundation,” they also wrote.
Since sending out the first tweet, the page has been flooded with updates about the charities they’re involved with such as Coachcore.
Hello Magazine reports the account has followed charities close to the royals’ hearts such as United for Wildlife, The Art Room, Action on Addiction, Sentebale and The Invictus Games.
