Musician Rob Zombie, television personality Howard Stern and actress Rachael Harris are all celebrating their birthdays today, January 12.

Musician, film director, screenwriter and film producerRob Zombie turns 50 today. Born Robert Bartleh Cummings, Zombie rose to fame as a founding member of the band White Zombie which was formed in the mid-1980s. Their debut album, Soul-Crusher, was released in 1987 and was followed by their second album, Make Them Die Slowly, in 1989. The band gained fame after the success of ther 1993 album, La Sexorcisto and lead single "Thunder Kiss '65." The album went on to be certified multi-platinum for sales exceeding two million copies in the US. Their fourth and final studio album, Astro-Creep: 2000, became their first top 10 on the Billboard 200 and their second album to reach multi-platinum status.

Zombie began his solo career with the release of his 1998 debut album Hellbilly Deluxe. The album was both a critical and commercial success, reaching the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, and selling over three million copies worldwide. Zombie's first greatest hits album, Past, Present & Future, was released in 2003, and reached Platinum status. As a solo artist, Zombie has released five studio albums, three compilation albums, two remix albums, a live album, a video album, and 15 singles.

Following his success as a musician, Zombie began directing, writing and producing films. His first film, House of 1000 Corpses, was released in 2003. Its sequel, The Devil's Rejects, was released in 2005. In 2007, he released his third film, a remake of the 1978 classic film Halloween. The film went on to gross over $80 million, the highest-grossing film in the Halloween franchise. In 2009, Zombie released his first animated film, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, based on his comic book series of the same name. His film, The Lords of Salem, was released in 2013.

Howard Stern, 61

Radio and television personality, producer, author, actor and photographer Howard Stern turns 61 today. Stern is best known for his radio show which was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2005. He has been exclusive to Sirius XM Radio since 2006. In 1981, he paired with his current newscaster and co-host, Robin Quivers, at WWDC in Washington, D.C. before a stint at WNBC in New York City until 1985.

In 1985, Stern moved to WXRK in New York City and became one of the most popular radio personalities. He became the first to have the No. 1 morning radio show in New York and Los Angeles simultaneously and won numerous awards, including Billboard’s Nationally Syndicated Air Personality of the Year award eight times. Stern was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2012.

Outside of radio, Stern has hosted and produced numerous late night television shows, pay-per-view events and home videos. His two books, Private Parts (1993) and Miss America (1995), entered the The New York Times Best Seller list at No. 1. Private Parts was made into a biographical comedy film in 1997 that had Stern and his radio show staff play themselves. Stern performs on its soundtrack which charted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Stern's photography has been featured in numerous magazines including Hamptons and WHIRL.

Stern currently serves as a judge on NBC's reality competition series America's Got Talent alongside Melanie Brown, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

Rachael Harris, 47

Actress and comedian Rachael HArris turns 47 today. Harris performed with the Los Angeles, California, improvisational comedy troupe the Groundlings, and taught for a time with the Groundlings school. She made her television debut in a 1993 episode of SeaQuest DSV.

After an appearance on Star Trek: Voyager in 1997, Harris went on to a recurring role in The WB's Sister, Sister. She went on to appear in The Daily Show's 2002–2003 season, as well as roles on The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911!, The West Wing, Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monk, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Desperate Housewives and Suits.

Harris has made multiple appearances on such VH1 documentaries as I Love the '80s, I Love the '90s and Best Week Ever..

Harris' film credits include roles in Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, Kicking & Screaming and Daddy Day Care. In 2009, she appeared in the comedy The Hangover. She played Greg's mother in the film Diary of a Wimpy Kid in 2010 and reprised the role in the two sequels, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. She also voiced a character in Disney's Wreck-It Ralph and in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

In 2011, Harris starred in the indie comedy/drama film Natural Selection. She received the breakthrough performance award for her role as Linda.
