5. They wake each other up
When Snow learns that Prince James is to marry his fiancé after all, she decides to drink a potion that will help her forget about him. The only problem is that it turns her into a real b***h who doesn’t seem to care about anyone. Prince James, however, did not marry Midas’ daughter. Instead, he ventured after Snow. When he finds her she doesn’t remember him so true love’s kiss doesn’t work. He has to go to greater lengths to help Snow remember who she is.
At one point in time, Regina offered Snow a peace meeting. At the meeting, Regina offered Snow an apple, which Snow rightly assumed was poisoned. She agreed to eat it, however, on the condition that Regina would cease her cruel treatment of the people of her kingdom. After taking a single bite of the apple, Snow fell to the ground as if dead, but we all know she was really just in a sleeping curse. Thinking the worse, the dwarves place her in a glass coffin. When Charming finds them, he begs for a chance to tell her goodbye. His kiss (true love’s kiss) wakes her from the curse. Shortly afterwards, he proposes.
In order to communicate across realms, Charming places himself under a sleeping curse. He finds Snow in a nether world that she can access due to her having been under a sleeping curse in the past. Only those in or who have been in a sleeping curse can travel there. Snow realizes what he did, and as soon as she and Emma found a way back to Storybrooke, she rushed to his side. She woke him with true love’s kiss the way he woke her all those years ago!
