New photos of Prince George released

Prince George is one cute baby.

If you need proof, check out the latest photos distributed of Britain's future king. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a trio of official Christmas photographs taken by Prince Harry's private secretary, reports The Guardian. They show the cherubic 17-month-old dressed in a sweater vest with marching soldiers, dark shorts and shoes and socks.

The world's most watched toddler (we'll venture to say pictures of young North West don't get as much attention) is expecting a sibling early next year.

The images were released to thank the media for honoring their request to not publish paparazzi snaps of the young prince, reported BBC News .

In what could count as cuteness overload, People compared snaps of young George with his father at the same age, clad in a blue snowsuit. The magazine also shows a picture of a younger Princess Kate, making it clear that George inherited traits from both parents.

The adorable pictures of Prince George instantly earned rave reviews on Twitter.

Buzzfeed dubbed the toddler "royally adorable."

Cosmopolitan declared it the "CUTEST thing" you'll ever see. (Until the next batch of photos is released, right?)

Even MTV gushed, with a heart.
