New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate the coming of a new year with the one you love. If, however, you do not have a love, it’s a great time to find a date. After all, you’ve got to have someone to kiss at midnight, right?
So, for those of you who don’t already have a date, there is a lot of advice out there, including pick-up lines galore. If you happen to be a Once Upon a Time fan, you will be happy to know that there is a list of Once Upon a Time based pick-up lines. You can find them on Twitter under the hashtag #OUATPickUpLines. Some of the lines are common, and have been around for years. They fit into the Once Upon a Time mythology, but aren’t specific to the characters of the show. For example, “Are you a parking ticket, because you’ve got fine-fine-fine written all over you,” can be used by Sheriff Graham, as suggested by Twitter user @KeepinItEvil, or it can be used by anybody.
The pick-up lines listed in this top 10 are lines that are more specific to particular Once Upon a Time characters.
[new page=Regina, the Evil Queen (pick-up lines # 10 and #9)]
# 10
Regina’s character is complicated, but central to the Once Upon a Time storyline. She is one of the most dynamic characters on the show, and she has a love of apples. As the Evil Queen, Regina used apples as one means of enacting sleeping curses. Her love of the tempting fruit makes the following pick-up line especially appropriate.
Do you wanna taste my forbidden fruit? #OUATPickUpLines

# 9
In The Enchanted Forest, when Regina was the Evil Queen, she hired a huntsman to kill Snow White and bring her the heart; a task he does not complete. Needless to say, Regina was very angry, and as punishment took the huntsman’s heart so she could control him. In our world, in the quaint little town of Storybrooke, Maine, Regina is the mayor and the huntsman is Sheriff Graham. This pick-up line is meant to be from Regina to the Graham.
(Pre-redemption) Regina "you might me the huntsman, but I'm the one who hunts men..."

[new page=Jefferson, the Mad Hatter (pick-up line # 8)]
# 8
Jefferson is a man who had a magic hat. He was able to use his hat to open portals to other worlds. One such world was Wonderland. This may sound wonderful, except that the Evil Queen ended up trapping him there. It was his desperate attempt to make a new magic hat that garnered him the nickname “Mad Hatter.” This pick-up line is amusing, but knowing Jefferson’s history, I doubt he’d actually want to go back! Still, every girl likes the idea of being taken on a trip.
@thewickedregal or Jefferson "I can take us to wonderland..." #OUATPickUpLines

[new page=Captain Hook (pick-up line #7)]
# 7
Since we are talking about girls liking to go on trips, let’s talk about Captain Hook. Another thing that women have a tendency to be attracted to is the “bad boy” look. Captain Hook has it all: tall, dark, handsome, brooding, and his own ship. This is a really good pick-up line for Hook, in fact, I’m pretty sure he used it in the Season 3 finale, when he meets Emma in the past.
"Wanna see my pirate ship?" #OUATPickUpLines

[new page=Snow White (pick-up line # 6)]
# 6
Snow White and Prince Charming are the epitome of true love. This pick-up line is like the example of the parking ticket, it can be used by anyone. However, it’s included, because it is easy to picture Snow White saying this, and sometimes you just want to say something sweet rather than make an innuendo.
Snow to Charming: I must be a snowflake, because I've fallen for you. #OUATPickupLines

[new page=Rumpelstiltskin (pick-up line #5)]
# 5
In the world of Once Upon a Time, Rumpelstiltskin is the beast that falls in love with Belle. She falls in love with him as well. The writers of the show have attempted to pay homage to the Disney princesses’ animated versions. Beauty and the Beast had a phenomenal sound track, at least in the sense that the songs could get stuck in your head like Frozen’s “Let it Go.” One such song is “Be Our Guest,” which lends itself to this cute pick-up line.
Is your name Belle because I'd like to be your guest.

[new page=August/Pinocchio (pick-up lines #4 and #3)]
# 4
In The Enchanted Forest, Pinocchio is the lovable little boy we know from the animated Disney film, but in modern day times, he is a man who goes by the name of August Booth. Now, we know that Pinocchio had a hard time telling the truth. August, similarly, has a hard time making decisions, and seems to rather enjoy himself, if you know what I mean. This line is funny, but probably inappropriate for an office date.
@thewickedregal Pinocchio "my nose isn't the only thing that grows..." I'M SO SORRY I COULD NOT RESIST THIS #OUATPickUpLines

August Booth returns to Storybrooke towards the beginning of the series, in order to convince Emma Swan to believe they are all Fairy Tale Characters. She, undoubtedly, thought he was crazy. It was his fate to turn back to wood if he failed to get her to believe. However, when the curse is broken, he lives again, just as a grown up version of his wooden puppet self. This is the time when the following pick-up line would be apropos.
Hey baby, I think you just made my two by four into a four by eight...August pickup line #OUATpickuplines

[new page=Robin Hood (pick-up lines # 2 and # 1)]
# 2
Robin Hood is the king of thieves, so this pick-up line is especially perfect for him. It also references a scene in which Regina asks Robin Hood to hold onto her heart (literally). His response is one of surprise that she’d trust a thief when such a valuable item, but she quickly reminds him that you can’t steal something that’s been given to you.
#OUATPickUpLines "I'm a thief that will steal your heart." "You can't steal something that's been given to you." #OutlawQueen

You always save the bawdiest for last!!! Well, I don’t know, the two by four was pretty bawdy, but this one involves Robin Hood. I’m telling you, girls like the bad boys. This is a great pick-up line, although, it may get you slapped. So, beware.
#OUATPickUpLines '"If you hold my arrow, it'll make you quiver."- Robin Hood. #Hoodies

So, this brings us to the end of our list of Once Upon a Time pick-up lines. It is by no means exhaustive. You can find many more on Twitter with the hashtag #OUATPickUpLines. Some of these are nice, some are naughty, but I’m sure you can find one that will entertain a potential date. Happy New Year!
