Iggy Azalea has confirmed a collaboration with Britney Spears, which she said will come out next year and will be Spears’ first single of her new album.

During a radio interview with Kiss 108, the rapper said they recorded a few songs but there was just one that stood out.

"I still haven't really got to have a conversation with her, so I'm hoping New Year's will be the time I can get her in a corner,” she said, Ace Showbiz reports.

Azalea also revealed it was Spears’ camp that reached out to her about working together, not the other way around. She said the “Work Bitch” singer did an interview saying she hoped to record with Azalea and they made it happen.

“She said she would like to work with me in an interview and they reached out,” she said. “We recorded a few different things and then one of those just ended up being, I think, undeniably great."

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reports Azalea just announced a Great Escape Tour, with Nick Jonas as her opener as well as Tinashé and DJ Wizz Kidd as featured guests.
