Actor and film producer Brad Pitt turns 51 today. Pitt first gained recognition in 1991 as a cowboy hitchhiker in the Thelma & Louise. He later went on to land leading roles in the films A River Runs Through It, Interview with the Vampire and Legends of the Fall. In 1995, he earned critical acclaim for his performances in the crime thriller Seven and the science fiction film 12 Monkeys, the latter earning him a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and an Academy Award nomination.

In 1999, Pitt starred in the comercially successful film Fight Club and went on to star in the international hit Ocean's Eleven in 2001 and its sequels, Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen. Pitt is known for starring in films that have had great commercial success including Troy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and World War Z. Pitt received his second and third Academy Award nominations for his leading performances in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in 2008 and Moneyball in 2011.

Pitt served as producer for the film The Departed in 2006 and 12 Years a Slave in 2013, both of which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. He also produced The Tree of Life and Moneyball, both earning Best Picture nominations.

Pitt is currently married to actress Angelina Jolie, they have six children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Pitt most recently starred in the war drama film Fury alongside Shia LaBeouf and Michael Peña.

Singer, songwriter and actress Christina Aguilera turns 34 today. Aguilera appeared on the television series Star Search and The Mickey Mouse Club in her childhood. She rose to fame as a singer in the 1990s, her self-titled debut album was released in 1999 and debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album spawned three No. 1 singles, "Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants" and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)." In 2001, Aguilera earned her fourth No. 1 single in the United States with a cover version of "Lady Marmalade."

Aguilera's fourth studio album, Stripped, was released in 2002. The album spawned multiple top-ten singles, including "Dirrty" and "Beautiful," and was one of the best-selling albums of that year. Aguilera earned her second number-one record in the United States with her fifth studio album, Back to Basics in 2006. In 2010, Aguilera released her electronic-inspired sixth studio album, Bionic and later that year, she starred alongside Cher in the film Burlesque.

In 2011, Aguilera became an original coach on the U.S. television series The Voice. That year, she earned her fifth number-one single in the United States with her Maroon 5 collaboration "Moves like Jagger." She also collaborated with Pitbull for "Feel This Moment" and A Great Big World for their single "Say Something" in 2013, both songs reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Throughout her career, Aguilera has won four Grammy Awards, one Latin Grammy Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.She has sold 50 million albums worldwide. Aguilera is involved in charitable activities through human rights, world issues, and her work as a UN ambassador for the World Food Programme. Aguilera has two children, a son from her previous marriage and a daughter with her current fiance Matthew Rutler.

Steven Spielberg, 68

Film director, screenwriter, producer and business magnate Steven Spielberg turns 68 today. Spielberg is considered one the most popular and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. His debut full-length feature film was The Sugarland Express in 1974. He went on to direct one of the biggest films of his career, Jaws. He went on to write and direct Close Encounters of the Third Kind in 1977. It was a critical and box office hit, giving Spielberg his first Best Director nomination from the Academy as well as earning six other Academy Awards nominations.

Spielburg directed a string of successful movies. In the '80s, he directed E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones films, Twilight Zone: The Movie and The Color Purple. In the '90's, he directed Hook, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, and Saving Private Ryan. In the 2000s, he directed Catch Me If You Can, Munich, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret og the Unicorn and Lincoln.

Spielberg won the Academy Award for Best Director for Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. Three of Spielberg's films, Jaw, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Jurassic Park, achieved box office records, each becoming the highest-grossing film made at the time.

Spielberg served as executive producers on the Showtime series United States of Tara. In 2011, he launched Falling Skies, a science fiction television series on the TNT network. He also produced the Fox TV series Terra Nova. Spielberg is also one of the co-founders of DreamWorks Studios.

Spielberg's next announced project is an adaptation of Roald Dahl's celebrated children's story The BFG, scheduled to be released in 2016. He is also scheduled to serve as producer for the next Tintin film.

Spielberg has 6 children and is currently married to actress Kate Capshaw.
