Actress Vanessa Hudgens and singer Tori Kelly are celebrating their birthdays today, December 14.

Actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens turns 26 today. Hudgens made her feature film debut in the 2003 film Thirteen. She later gained worldwide fame playing Gabriella Montez in Disney's High School Musical series. Her appearance in the series helped make her a household name and her songs from the films also charted worldwide, with the song "Breaking Free" peaking inside the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. This led to Hudgens releasing her debut album, V, in September 2006 which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 24, and was later certified Gold. Her second album, Identified, was released in July 2008 in the United States.

In 2009, Hudgens earned critical acclaim for her role in the film Bandslam. She has also appeared in the film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island alongside Dwayne Johnson and Josh Hutcherson. In 2013, she appeared in the film Spring Breakers, alongside Selena Gomez, and the film Machete Kills, directed by Robert Rodriguez.

Hudgens was a relationship with High School Musical co-star Zac Efron from 2005 to 2010. She is currently dating actor Austin Butler. Hudgens is currently working on new music.

Tori Kelly, 22

Singer and songwriter Tori Kelly turns 22 today. Kelly has appeared on the show Star Search, but she did not win the contest. Later in 2004, she made an appearance on America's Most Talented Kids, singing Christina Aguilera's "Keep on Singin' My Song" and won, beating out singer and songwriter Hunter Hayes.

Kelly began posting videos of her singing cover songs on YouTube in 2007. She later auditioned for season 9 of American Idol in Denver, Colorado and made it through to Hollywood week but did not reach the Top 24. In May 2012, she released her first album, Handmade Songs By Tori Kelly, an EP with six songs on her own label Toraay Records. Kelly has performed in venues such as the Troubador and the Roxy in Los Angeles, the Gramercy Theater in New York and Bush Hall in London. She has also been featured in magazines such as Teen Vogue, Elle and Glamour.

Kelly was the supporting act to Ed Sheeran at Madison Square Garden on November 1, 2013 and supported Sam Smith on his In the Lonely Hour UK tour in October 2014. Kelly is currently working to release her new album and has worked with other artists including Pharrell, Professor Green and Ed Sheeran.
