Glen Larson, the legendary television producer, passed away at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer on Friday, according to CNN.
Across Twitter, fans paid their respects to the late producer, sharing how the television shows he created inspired and entertained them. Throughout the 1980s, Larson created many popular shows to television, including Magnum P.I., Battlestar Galactica, and notably Knight Rider, which starred David Hasselhoff and Boy Meets World's William Daniels voicing his artificially intelligent super-car.
Twitter user Grag Pak wrote his respects, saying that the original Battlestar Galactica was a big part of his childhood.

Peyton Reed, director of the upcoming Marvel film Ant-Man took to his Twitter to share his thoughts about Larson.
"So man shows, but [The Six Million Dollar Man] was it for me," Reed wrote. "My first Super 8 short, in 1978: [The 10 Million Dollar Boy.]"
