This week’s edition talks about a variety of different movie genres such as comedy, romantic dramedy and even an action biography.
Horrible Bosses 2 revisits the lives of Nick, Dale and Kurt, who are trying to start their own business, but inevitably get caught up in yet another outrageous kidnapping scheme. Comet is a romantic dramedy set in a parallel universe and follows a couple during their six-year relationship. Finally, American Sniper chronicles a Navy S.E.A.L’s career that included more than 150 assassinations.
All three films have A-list star power, which will undoubtedly being moviegoers by the hoards to their local theaters on each movie’s opening day. In addition, all three motion pictures have singularly unique plots for their particular genre, some complete with out of nowhere twists that will intrigue audiences and keep them laughing, crying and on the edge of their seats.

Horrible Bosses 2 has Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey reprising their roles from the 2011 original comedy smash hit. New additions to the cast include Star Trek Into Darkness' Chris Pine and Django Unchained's Christoph Waltz.
This time around, Nick, Dale and Kurt (Bateman, Day and Sudiekis, respectively) create an innovative product and decide to start their own business. Yet, when a slick investor makes a similar product and takes over their business, the threesome decide to kidnap the investor’s adult son and hold him for ransom in order to regain control of their company. The movie’s trailer illustrates the trio’s bumbling antics as they form a plan, but of course, things go awry in spectacular fashion.
It opens in theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Comet is a romantic dramedy starring Emily Rossum (Shameless) Live Free or Die Hard's Justin Long and Eric Winter (Witches of East End).
Set in a parallel universe, the film follows the unlikely but perfect couple of Kimberly and Dell (Rossum and Long) during their six-year relationship. The film’s trailer displays Rossum and Long’s offbeat yet lovable chemistry as a couple trying to figure it all out and decide if they ultimately belong together.
It opens in theaters on Friday, Dec. 5.

American Sniper is an action biography directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller. It was based on Navy S.E.A.L Chris Kyle’s autobiography.
Cooper plays Kyle, who recounts his long military career, which includes over 150 kills. The motion picture’s trailer is filled with Cooper using sophisticated weaponry to take out numerous people interspersed with his personal life and countless struggles. Cooper elicits powerful emotions as he has to make life or death decisions on his targets.
It opens wide on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.
