Clarence House confirms Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's trip to New York and D.C.

Clarence House has finally confirmed the rumors circulating that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking another trip to the U.S.

During their brief trip from Dec. 7-9, they will make both joint and separate appearance on behalf of charities like the Royal Foundation and the UK Government's GREAT campaign. There’s been no confirmation on whether or not they will bring Prince George with them.

According to USA Today, the trip’s itinerary has been released, showing that the royal couple will be visiting New York and Washington D.C., their first time in both cities.

Together they will “pay their respects” at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center, the press release said.

Prince William will leave New York to attend engagements in D.C. while the pregnant Kate Middleton will stay behind to attend her own engagements in New York.

E! Online reports she will join mayor Bill de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane McCray, for an appearance at a child development center then attend a lunch hosted by the British Consul General in New York.

The couple will even attend an NBA game together during their trip.
