Actress and dancer Christina Applegate turns 43 today. Applegate gained fame with the role of Kelly Bundy on the FOX sitcom Married...with Children. In 1991, Applegate had her first starring role in the film Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, and went on to star in numerous films including Across the Moon, Wild Bill and Mars Attacks!. in 1995, Applegate became one of the founding members of The Pussycat Dolls.
In 1998, Applegate earned the title role in the well received NBC sitcom Jesse, which earned her a People's Choice Award as well as a Golden Globe nomination. Applegate guest starred in two episodes of Friends, playing Amy, Rachel's sister. She earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy. In 2004, Applegate returned to film, starring in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. She also appeared on stage in the productions The Axeman's Jazz, Nobody Leaves Empty Handed, The Runthrough and the 1966 revival of Sweet Charity, the latter earning Applegate the 2005 Theatre World Award and a nomination for a 2005 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
In 2007, Applegate starred in the ABC comedy Samantha Who?. In 2009 she starred in the NBC sitcom Up All Night alongside Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett.
Applegate married musician Martyn LeNoble in February 2013. They have one daughter, Sadie Grace, born January 2011. Applegate is a vegetarian and also a breast cancer survivor.
Bruno Tonioli, 59

Choreographer, dancer and TV personality Bruno Tonioli turns 59 today. In the 1970s, Tonioli was a member of the Paris-based company La Grande Eugène and later joined the Lindsay Kemp Company. Working as a freelance dancer, Tonioli made an appearance in Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" music video. Tonioli worked as a choreographer for music videos, stage performances and tours with artists such as Tina Turner, Sting, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Boy George, Duran Duran and Freddie Mercury.
Tonioli has many film, television and theater credits including Ella Enchanted, Dancin' thru the Dark, Enigma, What a Girl Wants, Blonde Bombshell, The Bare Necessities, La Vie Parisienne and The Man Who Thinks He's It.
Tonioli appeared as a judge on the British television dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, and its American adaptation Dancing with the Stars on ABC. In 2008, ABC premiered Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie-Ann. Tonioli's team won the competition, earning a contract with Hollywood Records.
In September 2012, Tonioli released an autobiography entitled Bruno Tonioli: My Story. Bruno and his long time partner, Jason Schanne, had a commitment ceremony after season 14 of Dancing with the Stars.
