New game 'Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved' lets you step into the shoes of sorcerer Mickey

The new video game Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved was inspired by Fantasia and lets you become Yen Sid's new apprentice just like Mickey Mouse in the original film.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved comes from the same developers that made Rock Band and Dance Central. The music rhythm game uses the Xbox Kinect's motion sensors to let you become the conductor of some of your favorite songs.
""We want you to feel that you're diving into the songs,"" Harmonix lead designer Jonathan Mintz said, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. ""We're really trying to capture that feeling of being Mickey in the movie – shaping the heavens and oceans and conducting the universe. You're conducting, creating and exploring the possibilities of music.""
There are more than 30 songs to play through in the game from artists including Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, and Queen. Although the game was inspired by Fantasia, there appears to be a lack of actual Disney songs in the video game besides Demi Lovato's cover of ""Let It Go,"" which is only available as downloadable content.
The game currently has a positive Metascore of 80 from Metacritic.
Become a master musical sorcerer in Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved available now, exclusively with Kinect for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
