Were you unable to access your Facebook account earlier this afternoon? Don’t worry, you weren’t the only one!
Social media feigns began to freak out when they realized that one of their favorite social media sites, Facebook, would not load. Users began receiving an error message that read, “sorry, something went wrong,” ultimately preventing anyone from accessing the site and causing a brief panic among frequent users.
The Facebook staff was able to get the site back up quickly, however, barely allowing 20 minutes to pass before getting it back up and running. Nevertheless, social media users wasted no time in turning to other outlets, particularly Twitter, to express their angst over their inability to access the site, post statuses, look through pictures, and view their Facebook news feed.
While there was a wide variety of reactions, we have compiled our top 10 favorite Twitter reactions in honor of the #FacebookDown tragedy!
