For his sophomore feature film effort, director Jake Schreier has been selected to helm the adaptation of the young adult novel Paper Towns.
Schreier previously made his feature film debut with Robot & Frank, which starred Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon, but is mostly known for directing commercials, short films and music videos, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paper Towns is based off John Green's novel of the same name about teen Quentin who finds his longtime friend and crush Margo drawing away in high school before she suddenly involves him in some acts of rebellion before disappearing.
Nat Wolff, who starred in the recent, successful adaptation of Green's The Fault In Our Stars alongside Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, will topline the film.
Fault screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber are also involved in the project, with Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen back on board to produce another Green adaptation.
Paper towns got a release date back in early August for July 31, 2015.
